20th September - 27th September NEWS FLASH
Jeff fishing in The Lonely takes 2 x 40's of 40-7 and 48-4 on Sunday and Paul looks happy with this 37-12. While Andy is chuffed to bits with this 39-13. It wasn't going to be easy with only 3 anglers this week but Jeff, Andrew and Paul made the most of it taking 30 fish averaging 29lb including 18 30's of which 5 were over 40 to 48-4 and some great laughs along the way. Well done and enjoy your apple pie!!

The 44-2 that Paul is pictured with here weighed 26-4 in October 2006 and was one of the first carp we caught here.
13th September - 20th September

Well done lads and look forward to seeing you again next year.

23rd - 30th August
This week saw the return of Ken, Martin and Robin joined by Wayne and non-angler Uncle Albert. The fish did not respond well in flat calm conditions. It is also becoming noticeable that they have started moving to areas that are not being fished, so with only 4 fishing it is not easy to keep on the fish. The lads shared a 26 fish catch with the best a 39-1 mirror falling to Wayne who was fishing in Lilly's swim. Cheers lads and see you next May.
16th - 23rd August PB's for Pat ... down "On The Beach"...
Barry and Pat finished their 2 week trip with some leisurely fishing (they like to take things easy). Having the lake to themselves they stayed in The Beach where amongst several fish Pat took PB's of 43-2 and 51-2.

26th July - 2nd August
After the two week lay off, the fish were expected to go on a massive feeding spree. However the weather and the fish had other ideas with temperatures soaring to 38 degrees catches were not as good as anticipated for husband and wife Mac and Ann McIntosh with son Dan. 28th June - 5th July soaring temperatures and thunder storms at "Deux Pierres"

7th June - 14th June
A hard week this week for 6 anglers with the fish still sulking and not interested in doing anything. However Billy and John fishing "Pierres 1" and "Pierres 2" took 28 fish including two 34lb commons and our one and only Sturgeon finally graced the banks at 21lb. Unfortunately the other guys really struggled but one fish of note was a 41lb mirror to Pete in The Grandstand.

31st May to 7th June
A better week this week for 5 anglers booking the whole lake. The lads from Kings Lynn took 70 fish to 40lbs although it would seem that the bigger fish were not on the munch probably due to the fact that spawning was interrupted by hail storms, torrential rain and cold winds. However Justin fishing from "Pierres 1" took 20 fish including 38-12 mirror, 35-8 common and 37-6 mirror. Pete in The Granstand had 13 fish to 34lbs. Kev in Mid-Drive took 17 fish to a PB of 40lb. This week saw the fish getting ready to spawn, and therefore catch rates slowed. However Terry Smith managed a PB common of 39lb from the Mid-Drive swim. Dan fishing from the Grandstand had a PB mirror also of 39lb. Shane in "Pierres 1" had a PB mirror of 38lb-13oz and fourteen year old Nathan had a PB common of 33lb-14oz. Not content with this, Marcel went on to land a NEW LAKE RECORD CAT FISH!!!!! - OF 117lbs!!!

Joining the Dutch lads this week, were Ben, Colin, Merv and Steve. Who between them notched up 59 carp. With Ben being TOP ROD taking 34 fish to 35-12 fishing to spodded areas proved the winning tactic for Ben. Steve used the same tactics, taking 19 fish to 35lb.

Week Commencing 22nd to 29th MARCH

The weather went from bad to worse for Ian Harris and his party. They had to endure heavy snow, hail, gale force winds, sharp frosts and torrential rain which didn't really encourage the fish to feed. They did however manage to tempt 29 carp to 38-8 which considering the conditions was not a bad result.
"DEUX PIERRES" FIRST 50.....15th to 22nd MARCH
We are pleased to announce the capture of our first FIFTY!!
Dean Turner has captured a new lake record and PB MIRROR of 51-12. Dean and his brother Jason have already this week caught over a thousand pounds of fish between them.
Dean and Jason finished the week with 44 fish between them averaging 26.5lb (Dean 26 fish and Jason 18). Deans catch along with the 51-12 included 11 x 30's to 38-8. While Jason had 2 PB 40's to 41-12 and 5 x 30's to 38lb. A big bed of spodded pellet and boilies did the trick for the brothers. Despite gale force winds and freezing rain and frosts, hard work paid off for Dean and Jason. Well done to you both.

Other catches of note include a PB 28-8 MIRROR for Kelvin Powley, a 37-8 MIRROR for Lawrence Hamilton, a PB 38-8 MIRROR for Scottish Andy and a PB 32-12 COMMON for newcomer Mark Patrick (Pat).

28th FEBRUARY - 5th MARCH
21 FISH CATCH FOR DAVE BRADLEY
Dave Bradley got the season off at Deux Pierres to a flying start with a 21 fish catch topped by a 31-8 common and a 30-12 mirror. Despite the big fish not feeding and temperatures down to minus 6, Dave went away very happy saying "not a bad result".

As you can see from the picture of the mirror, the fish appear to be loving the pellet that we have fed them on throughout the winter.
Graham joined Dave and fished the Friday and Monday taking 9 fish to 33-4 common.
