The Highlight had to be all 3 cat fish getting caught in 24 hours as follows, Ann having Flip Flop at 106lb, Matt with the middle one "Ezzy" at 125lb and Mac having the big one "Jimmy" at 136lb (he even caught it a week later at 137lb on one of his carp rods). Thanks for taking care of things. See you next year.

17th - 24th July 31 carp averaging 29-8lb for 3 anglers
This week saw just 3 anglers with lake booked for themselves and it made sense to go to "Pierres 1" and "2" and The Lonely for a nice sociable week (I should know, I took away the empties!!) for Nick in "Pierres 1" with 8 fish best a 38 common, Mike in "Pierres 2" for 13 to 38lb including 10x30's and Mick in The Lonely who had 10 to 42lb. 26th June - 3rd July A RECORD WEEK (the worst ever). More spawning and temperatures 35+
With the fish still spawning on and off and temperatures soaring to 40 degrees it was never going to be a good week especially with England going out to Germany in The World Cup!! It certainly was not a good week with 6 anglers who booked the whole lake, managed to catch 12 fish, 6 carp, 4 grass carp, the Sturgeon twice but all went home happy and with a jolly good sun tan.

How great to see you all again.
17th April - 24th April 4 anglers 23 carp to 43-5

Rory fished "Pierre 2" and Buzzard Corner for 6 including commons of 33 and 32-6 while Adrian took a 29 from The Grandstand and a 38-15 from Buzzard. The previous week the fish did not want to visit Buzzard Corner and this week finished with 3 anglers fishing in there on Friday night with one rod each after steadily sneaking the fish out through the week. 20th February - 20th March 84 carp to 53lbs
It has been the time of year for work parties and socials plus even some fishing! In what have been some of the coldest conditions imagineable plus what can only be described as a hurricane, 90 mph winds. The lake freezing and thawing regularly, 84 carp were landed including a 53 to Daniel Wall who seems to have a knack of getting amongst the bigger fish. Top catches for numbers are shared by Trevor who fished 27th February - 6th March for 18 fish to 41-7 and Mick who fished 13th - 20th March for 18 fish to 41-8 including 10 x 30's to 39-4. Not too bad considering the lake was frozen the morning he arrived! 5 members of the UK CARP CREW joined us and experienced the "hurricane". See their forum at www.ukcarpcrew.co.uk . The first 40 of the year was taken by Chris at 40-8 on 24th February. Well done to all and what a good time we had. Graham and Jane would also like to say a special thank you to Andy and Kelvin for all their hard work.
